REMEMBER GOD

THEN BEWARE  LIST THOU FORGET THE LORD, WHICH BROUGHT THEE FORTH OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, FROM THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE. DEUTERONOMY 6:12

Before the Israelites entered into the promised land, Moses took some time to remind them of all that they had gone through, all their travails in the land of Egypt, and how God in His mercy and faithfulness listened to their cry and delivered them in very simple and clear terms what God expected of them. He told them, "You are going to a better place, where you will enjoy life and eat the fruit of your labour. God will give you all round blessing. When that happens, do not forget Him. "When people are passing through trials and challenges of life, it is easy for them to remain focused on God. They fast, pray, make vows and are committed in all church activities. But as soon a God grants their requests and prosper them, they find "Very good" reasons why they no longer have time for the things of God. Some even used their children as an excuse not to be in the house of God or have time to do what they used to do for God before God gave them the fruit of the womb. They forget it is God that has given them power and good health to get wealth.
Whatever God gives us remains is property because the earth is His and everything in it. (Psalm 24:1). We did not create anything. His purpose is for us to use all He has given us to serve Him and be a blessing to others. Instead of allowing your accomplishments in life to draw you away from God, let them draw you closer to Him (God) as you acknowledged His greatness and faithfulness towards you. It is dangerous to forget your source. That will not be your portion in Jesus name.

WALK IN IS STEPS

"FOR TO THIS YOU WERE CALLED, BECAUSE CHRIST ALSO SUFFERED FOR US, LEAVING US AN EXAMPLE, THAT YOU SHOULD FOLLOW HIS STEPS. 1 PETER." 1PETER 2:21

In life, if you want to be a winner you must compete against yourself and not against someone else, because outrunning your rivals does not mean you ran your best race and this is what most  people fail to understand. You can win over another and still not fulfill your destiny. A loser can be a winner, if he can conquer himself and a winner is a loser, however many are his victories, if he loses in the battle with himself. Victory over others may in fact be the very thing that contributes to the winners failure to conquer self.
We know some believers today who stop maturing spiritually because they think they know more scriptures than others or have more success in ministry an they are still far from being what Christ had planned for them. If you must compare yourself with another, compare yourself with Christ. In the Bible (1 Peter 2:21) Christ is our perfect example; we should follow His steps and measure ourselves by His standard.

DIVINE COMPASSION

"IT IS OF THE LORD'S MERCIES THAT WE ARE NOT CONSUMED, BECAUSE HIS COMPASSIONS FAIL NOT". LAMENTATION 3:22

According to Psalm 34:15, God eyes are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry
This was exactly what happened when the Israelites cried for deliverance from bondage in the land of Egypt. Theirs was a harrowing experience. It was as if God had forgotten them, but He was waiting for His appointed time. He is not regulated or guided by man's time-table. God said, I have seen the affliction of my people. "I have heard their cry. I know their sorrows". 'I KNOW'; powerful statement. Sometimes we wonder if God "knows what I am going through". He says be still and see what I am going to do for you, and how I am going to do it. It may not be the way and time you would want it done, but you will be happy with the end result.

WHAT IS THE MEASURE OF YOUR WEALTH?

AND HE SAID UNTO THEM, TAKE HEAD, AND BEWARE OF COVETOUSNESS: FOR A MAN'S LIFE CONSISTETH NOT IN THE ABUNDANCE OF THE THINGS WHICH HE POSSESSETH LUKE 12:15

In our world. People define success on the basis of one's material acquisition. You are assessed on the basis of the number of houses and cars you own, the clothes you wear and the caliber of friends you have.
The rich man had everything going well for him. He was a successful farmer. He was the envy of neighbors,  friends and colleagues
But God said he was a fool. Rich fool? Yes. Why? Because he had no place for God, no thought of eternity in all is plans. He was therefore a poor rich man in the sight of the Almighty. He made his wealth his god but it was not able to deliver him when death came knocking. The owner of his soul came at a time he never expected. He thought he had many more years to enjoy life. What a fool. Act now and surrender your life to Jesus so that your name will not be included in the list of "fools forever".
