PROPHECY IS PREFERRED TO GIFT OF TONGUES
Follow after Charity, and desire spirtual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men,but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. But he that prophesieth speakth unto men to edification and exhortation, and comfort. He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. I would that ye all spake with tongue but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
Now brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine? And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or what is harped? For if the trumpet give
an uncertain sound, who shall prepare
himself to the battle? So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to
be understood, how shall it be known what is
spoken? For ye shall speak into the air. There are, it may be, so many kinds of
voices in the world, and none of them is
without signification.
Therefore I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me. Even so ye forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
Where fore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.
For if I pray in an unknown tongue my
spirit prayeth, but by understanding is
unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the
understanding also: I will sing with the
spirit, and I will sing with understanding also. I thank my God, I speak with tongues
more than ye all: Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. Brethren, be not children in understanding: how be it in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. In the law it is written, With men
of other tongues and other lips will I speak
unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord. Wherefore
tongues are for a sign, not to them that
believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them which believe.
If therefore the whole church be come
together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad? But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: And thus are the secrets of
his heart made manifest; and so falling down
on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.
How is it then, brethren? When ye come
togther, everyone of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a
revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. Let the prophets speak two or
three, and let the other judge. If any thing
be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace, as in all churches
of the saints.
For we are not as many which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of
God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you my love be with you all in Christ Jesus Amen.
THE WORLD GREATEST SIN IS LOVE
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not Love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not Love, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not Love, it profiteth me nothing. Love suffereth long, and is kind;Love envieth not; Love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Love doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but reoiceth in the truth. Beareth all things.beliveth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail;
whether their be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a chils, but when I became a man a put away childish things. For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, Love, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.
ANTI CHRIST
As it is written, behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offence and whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.
You can call the devil many names but not a fool. He has never been a fool from the day he was casted down from heaven to earth His kingdom is highly organised and the bible said that one third of the angels followed him down to earth. Satan rebelled and was cast out of heaven. Isaiah 14:12-13 says how art thou fallen from heaven, o Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nation's! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will asend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north". Satan has a very intelligent force that are not easily dealt with if you are not careful. The powers we are wrestling against are not flesh and blood, they are principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places Eph 6:12. These powers are very persistent and consistent in attacking the children of God. If you do not send them out properly, they will come back with more powers to regain their positions.
These agents are everywhere and can be anybody. God wants you to reaffirm your stand in him. Devil has already changed some of the Christians. Some are not serving the Lord again but serving Satan and they are not fully aware of it. Most are waiting to see the physical 666 numnber before they can believe there is anti-christ.Do not be deceived. Make up your mind today and follow Jesus the Author and the finisher of your faith.

THE CONSUMING FIRE
For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrew 12:29
God will judge the world and every person in the world on the last day. Just because judgment does not happen immediately does not mean that it will not. Galatians 6:7 says "Be no deceived God is not mocked" when lot told his sons in law that God was going to destroy Sodom, they thought he was joking (Gen 19:14). Similarly the people of Noah's day did not believe him either. The same is true of this present generation. People are busy amassing wealth by hooks or by crook, thinking that things will continue the way they are world without end.
You will not live in this physical world for ever. Let it be clear to you that you will die one day, and it could be sooner than you think. Then you will face instant judgment. How will you face God? You can discuss this established fact with a wave of the hand but you cannot change it. Acts 17:31 says that God has appointed a day on which He will judge the whole world by that man (Jesus Christ) whom He has ordained for that purpose. Yes, that Jesus Christ you are making fun of today will be your judge. One great day,the Consuming Fire will test what has been produced through our lives. It will be revealed by fire; and the fire. Will test each one's work....May we be found ready to endure that final heat, and may He find in us eternal treasures of gold, silver and precious stones. Repent and make a turnaround today.

APPRECIATE HIM
And thou say in thin heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me wealth. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth the power to get wealth. Deuteronomy 8:17-18
Thank you Jesus. Have you said it today? As Christians, so much of what we have is a result of what Jesus Christ has done for us. Where would we be without the work of Jesus Christ? Thanksgiving is a time where we are often mindful of what we have received; Good things done for us or to us. Blessings we have been receiving, and the time of giving thanks for meaningful things in our lives. Whatever the situation might be, where there is life, there is definitely hope. So give thanks that you are alive and well. The Lord is good and His mercies endure forever. It is God who makes your victory, success, salvation and other blessings possible. Whatever you are enjoying today is not of your own making, therefore stop boasting
about possible. You must thank Him every day,and in every situation.
There is nothing you have now, or you will have in the future that is not, or will not come from above. The Bible says Can a man receive anything except it is given to him from above? It is neither by power nor by might but it is of God that shows mercy. God can cause the mighty to fall, the strong to be dethroned, and the powerful to be disgraced. But God kept you and your family alive, it is Him that makes everything to work out and His goodness endures forever. I think you should say "Thank You Jesus."

DO NOT WORRY, PRAISE THE LORD
Let everything that hath breath Praise ye the Lord. Psalm 150:6
As we Journey through another year from tomorrow, many people will be looking forward, thinking of how things will work out for them. Some may be worry, maybe because of some sad experiences they had during the year, or as a result of their failure to realize their dreams and the goal they set for themselves. Any person who is alive has a reason to praise God. Have you stopped to think of the number of people that died this year? You slept and woke up 365 days and did not know that many died in their sleep the world over.
There are many battles God fought for you which you are not aware of Psalm 3:15 says, My time is in thine hand. God is in firm control of the world He created, and He. never sleeps nor slumbers (Psalm 121:4).
There were storms and there could be more, but He who is marten over the storms will not allow them to come near you. He says even if a woman forgets the child she gave birth to, He will never forget you. In all you do in life not leave Jesus out of your plan. With Him, you are secure; I think you need to praise the Lord.

DO NOT DOUBT GOD
The serpent said to the woman, you surely will not die! Genesis 3:4
Living in this fallen world can challenge our faith in God's goodness. The pain and suffering that resulted from Adam and Eve's sin may cloud our understanding of the Lord and tempt us to blame Him for every difficulty we face. Why does not God always remove our problem, solve our problems and give us what we want?
When Eve listened to the serpent's lies in the Garden of Eden, she began to doubt that the Lord had made the right choice in forbidding her to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Why would He deprived her of wisdom and the enoyment of food that looked desirable?
Our thoughts are similar to Eve's when we do not agree with what our Father says is the
best for us. From a human perspective, "good" refers to what is enjoyable, delightful, comfortable, or profitable. But God has a much higher standard and is always working to achieve His purpose to develop Christ-like character within His children.
Behind every restriction or commandment, the Lord gave to us is His loving care for His followers. He knows the tormenting consequences of sin and wants to deter us from rebellious choices that will wreck our
lives. In refusing His will, we are choosing
pain and trouble.
Eve learned through disobedience that God knows what is best. We have the opportunity each day to discover His goodness by listening to His voice, obeying. His commands, and trusting His wisdom. Whatever may come our way, we can know He is working for both our temporal and eternal good.

NO COMPROMISE
The Lord is on my side;I will not fear: what can man do unto me? Psalm 118:6
King Ahab surrounded himself with false prophets who prophesied lies unto him. He knew they were not telling him the truth but he could not send them away because they told him what he wanted to hear. But there was one man who refused to follow the majority. He was a true prophet of God who did not care about fame or position. Micaiah was not afraid to stand alone and declare what God had reveled to him, and he was not unaware of the implication of his actions. It could cost him his life. He made a choice to obey God in spite of the risks involved. Everyday of our life we are faced with choices. Temptations are all around us. Whether or not to yield to such temptations is a personal choice which each person has to make. When there is a choice between truth and falsehood,God expects us to follow the path of truth. Although certain choices we make can expose us to danger,we should however not be deterred by apparent inconveniences and discomfort we may suffer for standing for what is right even if it means standing alone.

OF THE COMING OF GOD'S KINGDOM
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by are continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up the into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publician. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I. am not as other men are, extortioners, unust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithe of all of all that I possess.
And the publician, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house ustified rather than the other: for everyone that exalteth himself shall be abased and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
And they brought unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God is a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? None is good, save one, that is, God.
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. And he said, All these have I kept from my youth youth up.
Now When Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing; sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. And when he heard this, for he was very rich. And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. And they that heard it said, who then can be saved? And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Then Peter said, Lo we have left all, and followed thee. And he said unto them verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

DISCIPLINE AND SELF DENIAL
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
I believe all men have this in common: that they want to be happy. They do not agree on what brings the greatest happiness, but they do all long to have it. And this longing is not bad. It is good. Some actually tried to find happiness in ways that displeased and dishonour God. It is important to find happiness in the ways that pleases and honour God. The only way that would be is when we move closer to Him, our joy will be full. God has established this world in such a way that doing well through faith in Christ always leads to greater happiness eventually. We do not live in a world where we must choose between our eternal happiness and God's glory! Our ultimate goal in this world is to please God and please Him only. We must understand why God has created us into this world. The Bible says we were created for His pleasure. God has created this world.
The Bible says we were created for His pleasure. God has created this world and it's moral laws in such a way that the more we choose to glorify God, The happier we will be. God made Us to be Eternally Happy, of course this does not mean that there is no discipline, no self denial. "If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it and
whoever loses is life for my sake and the gospel's will save it Mark 8:34, 35. But it is clear from Jesus words that self- denial is a means to saving our lives.

AM I STILL SAVE
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our, and to cleanse us from all unrigteousness. 1 John 1:19
The Christian walk is a "faith walk" . This means that you don't depend on. Physical evidence when dealing with spiritual matters. Is not, "If you see but " if you believ"

THE POWER IN HIM
The secret things belongs unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the works of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29
There is nothing more beautiful than walking according to the Lord's directives in all areas of your life, you will be living a life of heaven on earth. Your life will be an extension of His kingdom on earth. Moses saw God and knew Him intimately, he became God's friend and God spoke to him face to face. The Bible say. " God has made known His ways unto Moses. The people that "knows their God shall be strong and do exploits" Daniel 11:32. Beloved, before you can embark on doing exploits, you must be strong in your walk with God. Your ways should be like His ways. Pauls says in the book of the Philippians 3:10 "That I should be like His ways. Pauls says in the book of the Philippians 3:10 "That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection". You can only know Him when you study His words. When you changed from your normal self to an extra ordinary human being for God. When you seek and knock and ask. When you make op your mind to stop the devil from deceiving you. When you cultivate a habit of a Christian. When you acquired the fruits of the Spirit. As you inquired more of Him, He will make His way plain before you and give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding you need to sustain it. You will be clothed with the garment of grace and love.

DON'T LOSE HOPE
When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, there is lifting up and He shall save the humble person. Job 22:29
Are you going through crisis at this moment? Do you have weeping anointing? Have you wondered why things appear not be going the way you anticipated? It is wrong to cry when it appears that you are knocked down. Look up to God and He will change your situation. Do you know that God can open His own door when all other doors appear closed against you? God can start a new programme with you when everybody around you had concluded that all hope is lost. When God starts a lifting up of every knocked down experience, no matter how cast down you are, there is a lifting up. Do not give up when you are knocked down. What you need is not pity or human sympathy. Always remember God's heroes experienced long waiting periods. Those years of silence were a time of discipline not of displesure. Waiting periods give us an opportunity to grow in our faith, you need to get up and move ahead.
