STAND FIRM

WATCH YEA, STAND FAST IN THE FAITH, QUIT YOU LIKE MEN, BE STRONG 1 CORINTHIANS 16:13 The Bible gave us a concept in the book of Ephesians chapter 6 vs 11; it says we should "put on the whole armor of God that yea may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.The word wiles" mean, "schemes" of the devil...The plan Satan and his agents have set for you as a Christain.Do not be deceived by the physical things that you see because many profess to be Christain and claimed to have a Christ like attitude and are still compromising with the world. They are pretending to be holier than thou in the church, Many Christians today still visits clubs and parties...since they believed that nobody can see them in the night, if nobody sees you and you get away with it God since everything. Beloved, we do not know when the trumpet will sound and the saints will be raptured. How exactly do you want to explain yourself as a Pastor a reverend, a born again brothers and sister and you were not able to rapture with our Lord Jesus Christ. We need to stand firm. Satan is very intelligent. He knows our weakness more than us. Do not give up to deceit. He can enticed you with the things of the world, but do not allow him back into your life. Stand firm and the Lord will be with you. Check yourself every day and read your bible. He will use anything to get more people into hell. You will not be a candidate of hell in the name of Jesus.

RECIEVE JESUS

BUT AS MANY AS RECIEVED HIM, TO THEM GAVE THE POWER TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD, EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME: JOHN 1:12 The Bible is filled with promises for those who love God reiterates the benefits and rewards both in this life and our eternal inheritance. Many inheritance is in the bible and the children of God are not claiming it at all. These are there to show and prove to us that God does indeed love us. God continuously expresses His love towards us in so many ways. He even showed it by allowing His begotten Son to be beaten and and nailed on the cross for us. Just because of His great love for us. Since we know that God is seeking our good, we are then freed from our self-centered world view and can then put our focus on expressing our love towards God. Almost always, God gives a command with a promise. We do not have to ask for the promises, God has already stated. His desire to give us what He promised. Just do the right thing and all of those promises will be yours. We need to ask God to work within us so that we can do His will and keep His commands. God has expressed the depth of His love towards us so that we can have the confidence to die to ourselves and seek God's will. We give ourselves to God knowing that He has given and continue to give of Him to us. “God so loved the world that he gave is only begotten Son {John 3:16]..... Now the present question is, are you willing to love God And give? Set your heart on asking God to acomplish His plan in your life and rest in the confidence that God already has provided for your satisfaction. Seek God's Kingdom and His righteousness and He will prove His promises to you.

WORDS CARRY POWER!

Pleasant words are sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. Proverbs 16:24 I was amazed the day I read that a average person speaks 50,000 words daily. What is more disturbing is that we don't need more than 5 or 10 percent of that number daily. The Bible says a lot of things about the spoken word. The word you speak is a living organism. It is a seed, and when you plant it through your mouth, it brings forth after its kind. This is why we should first think before we say anything. Proverb 18:21 says death and life are in the power of the tongue. God commanded light to come out of darkness Genesis 1:3;2 Cor:4:6. And we are made in His image. We can bring something into being through spoken word. After the 13 spies returned from spying the land of Canaan, 10 of them told Moses, "Impossible! We can't make it" the spies said they which they wish they had died in Egypt, or even here in the wilderness! They turned themselves into grasshoppers! God said, Okay just as you have said, so shall it happen to you. You will all die in the wilderness Number 14:28-35. And we know that was exactly what happened.your words can travel farther than you can imagine and carry out whatever you want it to accomplish. The centurion understood this. He told Jesus, Speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed Matthew 8:8 Do you want to live long and enjoy the good things of life? Learn to speak healthy, life- giving words to yourself, your situation and to others. The law of sowing and reaping says that you will reap exactly what you sow, it cannot be otherwise.

SOWING AND REAPING

Be not decicived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap Galatians 6:7 The Law of sowing and reaping is one principle that works in both physical and spritual realms. If you do good you will surly reap good and if you do bad same goes you surly will also reap bad. It is natural to reap what you have sown. Haman did not think about this law when he was plotting the death of Mordecai. With his political office and closeness to the King as an advantage, he thought everything would go in his Favour. But God turned the tables on him and he got irredeemablyentagled in the net he spread for a child of God. God said He will contend with whoever that contends with you Isaiah 49:24-26. So when they gather to plan and scheme for your downfall, don't panic. 3elax and commit the matter to God and He will surly fight your battles. All those that are incensed against you because you follow the path of righteousness shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall perish just as Haman perished in the gallows he built with his own hands for mordecai. Pray always, hold your peace and the Lord will fight your battles for you. Those that leave everything in the hand of God will surly see the hand of God in all they do. Trust God, Hold on to your faith, Never give up on God he as you!

LIVE A HUMBLE LIFE

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. 1 Peter 5:6 A life of humility is a life worth living. A life of humility is a key factor for every believer to live. The Bible says, The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honour is humility". Proverb 15:33 To live a humble life is what God expects from us. One of the major secrets for God lifting us up in life both spiritually and physically is for us to humble ourselves before Him. 1 Peter 5:6 "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you in due time", it takes God nothing to exalt His people but this depends on you. Are you ready to live a humble life? Think about what the Bible is saying Proverb 22:4, By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honour and life.

SUPER POWER

And all are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. Colossians 2:10 Whenever light appears, darkness disappers. In the world, when a super stars appears in the arena, every other powers bows. In spiritual matters higher powers force lesser Ones to bow. The power of our Lord Jesus Christ is far more greater than Satan's power and that of all his agents. Jesus name is higher than all other names, for at he mention of the name of Jesus every knee must bow. The incidentat Mount Carmel where Elijah called down the fire of God and the eventual destruction of the prophets of Baal was a clear indication of how superior the power of God is. Turn to Jesus today with all your problems and experience His power, for there is no power more powerful than the power of Jesus. His power is supreme. Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 4:20 for the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. Beloved, true power is only found in Christ Jesus through fullness of the Holy Spirit, humility, knowing the secret things of God and faith in Him. This power will give you authority, open good doors, create opportunities and enable you to make good use of it. I pray by the power in the blood of Jesus any prophet of Baal challenging your God shall be disgraced in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

WHY WORRY WHEN YOU CAN PRAY

And all things,whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Matthew 21:22 There was a war between the Amalekites and the Isrealites. The physical war was going on but Moses knew that the physical is a products of the spiritual, so he fought spiritually. As the battle continued, His hands which he lifted up became weak, and the Amalekites prevailed, but when his hands was strengthened, the Isrealites won. In like manner,when you are praying you will prevail in your your entire situation but immediately you allow your hand to be weakened through wory or discouragement, the Amalekites of your life will be favoured and they will prevail against you. There is no problem too great, hard or difficult, that prayer cannot solve. Those problems you 3e worrying about need only prayer. If you look at this bible passage Exodus 17:8-16 you will see that Moses was praying while Joshua was fighting in prayer for total victory. He discovered that he must keep his hands stretched to heaven in prayer for total victory. He discovered that God's prevailing power is released into the lives of those who pray. It has been suggested that ninety percent of the things we worry about never happen, and the other five percent are things over which we have absolutely no control. So why worry when you have the weapon of prayer? You can still prevail. God can do anything no matter the situation you are in right now keep praying keep believing yahweh will fix it.

SAVED FOR A PURPOSE

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life John 3:16 Every Christian has a missionary to embark on. You have been saved to save others. And you will return to the feet of Jesus Christ one day to give account. The greatest miracle that can happen in one's life is the salvation of his or her soul. There is always a great joy in heaven whenever a person is translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God. You need to rejoice with that person as well. Indeed, that is the greatest breakthrough anyone can receive. A lot of of Christains will go to heaven and be accused of murder; they have blood on their neck because they refused to preach the gospel to others. Everything which god does, God has a reason and purpose for doing it. This means that if you have been bornagain God has a reason for saving you. he has a purpose for your life in the grand scheme of His ultimate plan for the Bride of Christ, the church Ephesians 2:10. If you do not have the burden to pray for lost souls, ask God to give you now. God will cause them to turn to Him and break every stronghold of the enemy in their lives. Act now, because no one knows when the Son of Man shall appear.

THAT PROBLEM HAS EXPIRED

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Psalm 118:8 When it was reported to the king of Isreal that the Syrian army had left their camp abandoning all their supplies and weapons of war, he did not believe the report. It t was too good to be true. Everybody within the walled city seemed to be waiting for death because that was man's expectation. When all hope was lost, when their strength and strategies failed, then, God stepped in. He brings hope into a hopeless situation. He took over the battle and gave His people victory without them firing a shot. God still fights for His children. And it may not necessarily be at a time and in the way we expects we ought to know by now that

WHAT IS THE MEASURE OF YOUR WEALTH?

And He said unto them, Take head, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. Luke 12:15 In our world, people define success on the basis of the one's material acquisition. You are assessed on the basis of the number of houses and cars you own, the cloths you wear and the caliber of friends you have. The story of the rich man in the Bible Luke 12:13-21, The rich man had everything going well for him. He was a successful farmer. He was the envy of neighbours and colleagues. But God said he was a fool in Luke 12:20, Rich fool? Yes. Why? Because he had no place for God, no thought of eternity in all his plans.He was therefore a poor rich man in the sight of the Almighty. He made his wealth his god but it was not able to deliver him when death came knocking. The owner of His soul came at a time he never expected. He thought he had many more years to enjoy at a time he never expected. He thought he had many more years to enjoy life. What a fool. Act now and surrender your life to Jesus so that your name will not included in the list of fools forever. Tomorrow may be too late repent now.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

For the eyes of the Lord are over the. righteous and His ears are open unto their prayers, but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil, 1Peter 3:12 Are you been persecuted because of your work in the House of God? Do people hate you just because of your faithfulness to your Father in heaven? Are you loathed just because you are always happy? And do they speak evil of you behind your back because of how important you took the work of God? Do not worry beloved, and never be frightened. Remeber that you are not alone, you are not of the same understanding and it Is better to suffer for doing good than for the evil. 1 Peter 3:13 says that "who is he that will harm you, if you be followers of that which is good? Beloved, Jesus Himself encouraged us to suffer for something good because the reward is more than what you could ever imagine. An eternal enjoyment in the presence of your Father. Joseph the dreamer just like the brothers named him suffered in the hands of His own family and he ended up being their saviour. Jesus Christ himself suffered in the hands of His own people too and He was justified in the end. Brethren, are you facing one persecution or another, Look up to God. Never change who you are in Christ for anybody. Never move away from your heavenly father just because of what people are saying about you. Let them call you all sorts of name but you know you have a greater name in heaven; Beloved are you ready to be called that name? Do not give up on God for He will never give up on you. The Lord will continue to strengthen you. You will not fail the Christian race, in the name of Jesus. Hold on, for your reward is on the way.

THE SPIRIT OF ZIKLAG

In the face of trouble, where do you draw your strength? When you are faced with depression and different afflictions, where do you look? When the family turned their back on you, who do you face? When the people you confided in decided to reveal your secret out just to put you to shame, who do you turn to? These are the questions we need to be asking ourselves often because they are the things that Christians or anyone that is born of a man will mostly passed through problems, and evidence of its can be seen in the book of psalm and he did not allow is problem to consume him. The book of Thessalonians 5:18 says; in everything, give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. God did not say you will not face trials and tribulations but He reassured us in the book of John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Always look unto Jesus to renew your strength, He is always there for you.
