DISCIPLINE AND SELF DENIAL

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

I believe all men have this in common: that they want to be happy. They do not agree on what brings the greatest happiness, but they do all long to have it. And this longing is not bad. It is good. Some actually tried to find happiness in ways that displeased and dishonour God. It is important to find happiness in the ways that pleases and honour God. The only way that would be is when we move closer to Him, our joy will be full. God has established this world in such a way that doing well through faith in Christ always leads to greater happiness eventually. We do not live in a world where we must choose between our eternal happiness and God's glory! Our ultimate goal in this world is to please God and please Him only. We must understand why God has created us into this world. The Bible says we were created for His pleasure. God has created this world.

The Bible says we were created for His pleasure. God has created this world and it's moral laws in such a way that the more we choose to glorify God, The happier we will be. God made Us to be Eternally Happy, of course this does not mean that there is no discipline, no self denial. "If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it and
whoever loses is life for my sake and the gospel's will save it  Mark 8:34, 35. But it is clear from Jesus words that self- denial is a means to saving our lives.

AM I STILL SAVE

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our, and to cleanse us from all unrigteousness. 1 John 1:19

The Christian walk is a "faith walk" . This means that you don't depend on. Physical evidence when dealing with spiritual matters. Is not, "If you see but " if you believ"

THE POWER IN HIM

The secret things belongs unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the works of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29

There is nothing more beautiful than walking according to the Lord's directives in all areas of your life, you will be living a life of heaven on earth. Your life will be an extension of His kingdom on earth. Moses saw God and knew Him intimately, he became God's friend and God spoke to him face to face. The Bible say. " God has made known His ways unto Moses. The people that "knows  their God shall be strong and do exploits" Daniel 11:32. Beloved, before you can embark on doing exploits, you must be strong in your walk with God. Your ways should be like His ways. Pauls says in the book of the Philippians 3:10 "That I should be like His ways. Pauls says in the book of the Philippians 3:10 "That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection". You can only know Him when you study His words. When you changed from your normal self to an extra ordinary human being for God. When you seek and knock and ask. When you make op your mind to stop the devil from deceiving you. When you cultivate a habit of a Christian. When you acquired the fruits of the Spirit. As you inquired more of Him, He will make His way plain before you and give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding you need to sustain it. You will be clothed with the garment of grace and love.

DON'T LOSE HOPE

When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, there is lifting up and He shall save the humble person. Job 22:29

Are you going through crisis at this moment? Do you have weeping anointing? Have you wondered why things appear not be going the way you anticipated? It is wrong to cry when it appears that you are knocked down. Look up to God and He will change your situation. Do you know that God can open His own door when all other doors appear closed against you? God can start a new programme with you when everybody around you had concluded that all hope is lost. When God starts a lifting up of every knocked down experience, no matter how cast down you are, there is a lifting up. Do not give up when you are knocked down. What you need is not pity or human sympathy. Always remember God's heroes experienced long waiting periods. Those years of silence were a time of discipline not of displesure. Waiting periods give us an opportunity to grow in our faith, you need to get up and move ahead.

DON'T BE A HYPOCRITE

In the meantime, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. Luke 12:1

This is the biblical definition of a hypocrite, "someone whose words and heart  (actions) do not agree. "A hypocrite may act the part of a Christian or talk like Christ, but he or she will not do both. Hypocrisy is often said to be doing something even though you do not want to or feel like doing it. It is true that God demands that our motives and reasons for doing things must be right, but this does not mean that we always want you to or delighted in doing it. To do what God wants you to do, or to do unto others what you. Would want. Them to do unto you, is not hypocrisy Matthew 7:12. Even if you do not feel like doing it.
It is hypocrisy only when your motive for doing it is wrong and you are genuinely seeking the welfare and benefit of others. Remeber, Jesus did not feel like going to the cross, but He went anyway to seek the welfare and benefit of the world.

Agape love is described as the, love that can be known only from the actions it prompts. This is not the love of complacency or affection, that is' it was not drawn out by any excellency in its obects Roman 5:8. Christian love agape, whwther exercised towards the brethern or
towards others generally, is not an impulse from feelings. It does not always run with the natural inclinations. It Agape seeks the welfare of all Romans 15:2 and works no ill to any Romans 13:8-10. Agape seeks opportunity to do good ao all men....Let God's love flow through us today.

Beloved God is waiting for you to enjoy what is rightfully yours. Your possession given to you by the Heavenly Father. There is power in the God you serve. Rest assured that He is waiting for you to change to Him.

PUT YOUR WORD IN ME

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Isreal after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God and they shall be my people. Jeremiah 31:33

God is not interested only in
making us hear and read the pages of the scriptures, but He has equally promised to write these words on the table of our hearts. God desires these as a covenant with us His people considering the fact that He is a covenant keeping God. But this covenant can only be effective when we the children keep the other part of it, that is, our readiness to yield the table of our heart for Him to write His words.

For us have a complete knowledge of our Maker God, implies that our hearts should be open to His word therein we can understand the concept of His will and covenant to us His people, for He has promised that He will be our God and we His people, for He has promised that He will be our God and we His people. Therefore, let's strive to be  continually in this covenat with Him.

ARE YOU AFRAID?

And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Matthew 18:20

People get disorganised and destabilized by a number of things. Sometime some people feel people feel a wave of uncertainty and insecurity envelop them. If you listen to the news or read the papers, you would think there is no hope for the world. The latest terminology, "economic meltdown", and job loss is sending shivers down the spine of many. But God has something different and heartwarming to say His people. Psalm 34:10 says the young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but that those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. Do you seek the Lord and what He alone can do? Or do you seek the favour of those in high positions in the land? If it is the latter then get ready for a shocker because you will be disappointed. But if you seek the Lord, be it. Known to you that in the Lord lies all the help you need. Both here and hereafter. The psalmist said in Psalm 56:3, " what time I am afraid, I will trust in thee". Are you afraid because of Terrorism? That is another problem of this age with bomb explosions everywhere. Trust in the Lord and He will take care of those things and situations that rob you of your peace of mind.

CONFESSIONS TO GO FORWARD

Deuteronomy 28:13: And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them. Proverb 21:1: The. King's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water; he turneth it whithersoever  he will. 1Samuel 17:45-46: Then said David to the Philistine, Thou  comest  to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Isreal, whom thou hast defied. This day I will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth; may know that there is a God in Isreal. Deuteronomy 33:25-27: Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be. There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky. The eternal God is thy refuge, and. Underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall trust out the enemy from before thee, and shall say, Destroy them. Jeremiah 1 : 19: And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee. Nahum 1:7-8: The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of. Trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place therof , and darkness shall pursue his enemies. Psalm 75:6: For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. Psalm 113:5, 7-8: Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high, He raised up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. Philippians 4:13,19: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ  Jesus. Galatians 6:17: From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

GIVE THANKS DAILY

There are not found that returned to give glory to God, except this stranger. Luke 17:18

Relatively, few people who receive the goodness of the Lord returns back to give Him thanks for what He has done. That does not keep the Lord from doing what is right for us. He healed all ten of the lepers according to their request- not just the one who was thankful. However, there was only out of the ten that was made "whole".

The Lord desires that we prosper in spirit, soul and body. He wants us to be whole not just healed. Part of the reasons God meets our physical needs is to prove to us His willingness and ability to meet our emotional and spiritual needs. The Lord is concerned about our temporal needs Matthew 6:30, but He is even more concerned about our eternal needs. All of these leapers needed physical healing and the Lord was moved with compassion and met their need. He also desired to meet their spiritual needs, but only one of the ten came back to thank Him.

Being unthankful is always a sign that "self" is exalting itself above God. A selfless person can be content with very little. A self -centred person cannot be satisfied. Thankfulness is sign of humility and cultivating a life of thankfulness will help keep "self" in its proper place.
Thankfulness to the Lord for what He has done is a very important part of a Christian life. One of the many benefits of thanksgiving and praise is that they keep us from be oriented. Giving thanks is a key to a relationship with the father that makes us "whole" and not just "healed."

ENOCH'S HEART

And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. Genesis 5:24

When the zeal of God captures you, it will ignite you with a great passion to walk with God and to be His friend. Imagine being Enoch and living 365 years and having this growing relationship with God!
One can only wonder what glorious depths of intimacy Enoch uncovered. Perhaps Enoch's heart longed so deeply for more of God and perhaps God grew weary of withholding himself. Maybe God's heart was saying, 'no' to you anymore. I am going to answer your prayer and show you my face. Come on up!

As you draw close to God, He might not take you to heaven as He did Enoch. However, he does desired to reveal the beauty of His face to you. As we walk with Him, He will open the Scriptures to us through the spirit of wisdom and revelation and reveal to us the light of the glory of God that is to be found in Him. When we walk with God, we enter the secrets of his kingdom. These are the paths that the ancients trod before us. Noah knew the secret of walking with God Genesis 6:9, as did Abraham Genesis 24:40. Through Christ, you can explore the glorious riches of knowing God like they did and even a greater degree because of the spirit which has been given to us!

THE MEASURE OF FAITH

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of
faith. Romans 12:3

If someone was serving different people soup out of a large pot with just one ladle, the ladle would be the measure, and everyone would receive the same amount of soup. Likewise, the Lord doesn't give us different amounts of faith. He's given every believer "the measure of faith". What about the places in Scripture where Jesus speaks of great faith Matthew 8:10 and little faith Matthew 8:26? He's saying that we can use great or little faith, but this doesn't affect the amount we've actually been given. That's the same the measure of faith. Paul said the faith he used was "the faith of the Son of God" Galatian 2:20.

Notice he didn't say "faith in the Son of God,"  but "the faith of the Son of God." If we all have the same measure of faith and Paul's measure was the same as Jesus, then ours is too. There isn't a shortage of faith, there's just a shortage of people who use the faith God gave them! There are many things we can do to release the God-given faith that's in us, but before we can do any of them, we must believe the faith is there. Instead of acknowledge the faith of Jesus that you have in your heart. This is the first step toward making your faith effective. Philemon 1:6

DO YOUR PART!

Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the Lord he is God; there is none else beside him.

Divine encounters themselves do not change people. Too many are waiting for God to do in their hearts and lives what he has decided we need to do ourselves. God doesn't make people trust him. God doesn't force us to live spiritual and moral lives. As we encounter him, we need to respond in faith and with love. We need to come to the place of voluntary submission to his will. While through his Word and his Spirit he does give us the power to follow him, he doesn't do it for us. When Paul wrote to the believers in Rome, he was writing to people whose lives had already been substantially transformed by God through their faith in the Messiah. But understanding that we still face the challenge of resisting being conformed to the lifestyles of those among whom we live. Paul told them that they were to be transformed by the renewing of their minds Romans 12:2. Whatever divine encounter we have had, we need to continue to be in process. As we encounter God, we need to change our way of thinking, bringing our minds into line with God's truth. It is only as we cooperate with God in this process that we will see positive change occur in our lives.

DIFFERENT LOVE

Charity never faileth 1Corinthians 13:8

Man's nature does not have access to God's kind of love. God is love 1John 4:8. And any man or woman who does not have God is seperated from true love. Mankind has millions of songs, plays, movies and stories about love, but many of them are not God's kind of love. Human love and God's love 3e not even in the same class. Basically, human love is selfish and God's love is totally unselfish. Human love says, I will love you provided you do what I want you to to, or as long as I feel like it. God's love is unconditional. The book of 1Corinthians 13:4_8 lists the remarkable characteristics of God's love. Few Christians fully appreciates how unique His love is.

We often think that God's loves for us is similar to the way we have been loved before. That is not so. Our bad experiences often prevent us from accepting God's love. We lower God to our level and think His love is conditional and proportional to our performance. That is how everyone else loves us, but God's love is different. It's like no other love you have ever experienced.

God's love never fails, even when we do. God's love is unconditional.  Since we did not do anything to earn it in the first place, He does not withdraw His love when we do not deserve it. He loves us because He is love, not because we are lovable, Make the decision today to renew your mind in the area of God's love. Ask the Lord to teach you anew what His love is all about. Then get ready for a revelation that will change your entire life!

MARRIAGE IS A COVENANT

And I say unto you, whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery Matthew 19:9 Although adultery denotes one has unlawful intercourse with the spouse of another, however, in its much broader term, it means to violate or pollute. Isreal violated or polluted their covenant with God. Jeremiah says, “She (Judah) defiled the land, and committed adultery Jeremiah 3:9. Adultery in relation to marriage also reflects a violation of the covenant of companionship. Sex outside marriage is adultery because it violates or pollutes the covenant of marriage by introducing another party and bringing that relationship into the marriage. The two shall be one flesh Ephesians 5:31. Divorce also adulterates or pollutes marriage because it disrupts or denies the divorced parties the right to be faithful to their covenant of companionship. Any time one divorces his mate (except for fornication) and marries another, he is guilty of adultery. He has polluted and destroyed a relationship intended by God to be permanent and pure. Why the “except for forniction” clause? Jesus is not saying that if fornication is involved, we must divorce, but rather, when fornication is involved, that is the only time when the person getting the divorce is not guilty of adultery. That is because the partner who had an extra- marital relationship has already polluted the marriage vow. In God's original design for marriage He intended marriage to be sacred, precious, pure, and permanent. The marriage covenant represents a final, irrevocable commitment where the man and woman renounce the right to live for themselves and become heirs together of the grace of life" 1 Peter 3:7.

BELIEVE AND BE RESTORED

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Isreal after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people. Hebrews 8:10 When God created man, He gave him dominion over all the earth. See,there are two ways that Jesus takes dominion: By force or by love and sanctification. By force-the forces of darkness are put down by force and placed under Christ feet in victory. In other words, those humans who refused to acknowledge Jesus as Lord and saviour will at some point in the future, be forced to bow to the domination of Jesus and all evil spirits will also be forced to bow to His dominion. On the other hand with the church, Jesus exercises dominion also through love. When God sent His Son to pay the penalty for our sin, He gave one basic command: "Believe" John 3:16. Those who do not obey this final command are condemned to an eternal seperation; those who believe are restored unto God's family and receive a new and lasting covenant. God has now written His laws into our heart and has promised to guide us in His wonderful plan. When we face temptation, loneliness, fear, or frustration, we can be comforted in knowing that God is already clearing a path for us to walk, a path that leads us unto Him. We only need to believe and be restored. As you believe in the finished work of Jesus, may your salvation remain permanent in Jesus name.

THE DANGER OF UNBELIEF

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. Genesis 3:6 Beloved,I think unbelief is actually faith. It is just faith in something other than God and His words. When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they were in faith. But their faith was in what the serpent said instead of what God said. Their unbelief was just their God given misdirected causing them to believe in a lie. We are faith beings. God created us to have belief in Him, However, some of us do belief in something else instead of God. Whether we like it or not, you must have believe in something if not God. We drive cars and ride on airplanes because we believe they will safely get us to our destination. We eat in faith, we sit in. Faith.....Everything we do is done in faith. Faith governs our lives. We use faith everyday. No one can function without faith. All of our actions are based on faith. But if we base our faith on things that contradict God's Word, we are in unbelief and using faith in reverse. Therefore unbelief is actually the power of faith working in a negative way. Just as faith is the power that releases God's ability 1John5:4, unbelief is the power that releases the will of Satan in our lives. Therefore, realize that you do have faith and you use it every day consciously and unconsciously in either a positive or negative way. Choose to direct your faith in the positive direction of God by basing it on the promises of God.

DEMONSTRATION OF GOD'S POWER

Behold i give unto you the power to tread on serpent and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19 Jesus said, Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit is ready, but the flesh is weak" Matthew 26:41. You must be alert to every action of the devil, you have to make sure that you do not give him any advantage over your life; else he will use it against you. You must examine your life daily and see whether you are still on the divine track of God for your life or not. Many are doing the right thing at the wrong place and some of the wrong things at the right place. You must live a holy and consecrated life, because our God is holy. Today check yourself thoroughly. Is there any arrow of lukewarmness or any handwriting of the enemy in your life? If there is any, you need to call on God with an aggressive prayer for Him to help you out.Spiritual consistency and physical checkup of yourself will guide you against the spirit of backwardness. This is a question I believe we all need to ask ourselves. How long will we waiver between love of God and love for the world, between our idols and the Lord, between money and our faith in God? Make a quality decision today and let Him demonstrate His power in your life. Nothing is hard for God. with God all things are possible. Remember God is not a talker he is a demonstrator.

YOU HAVE A MODEL

Let no man despise thy youth: but be thou an example of the believers, in words, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 1Timothy 4:12 Every man works very hard to become a model, consciously and unconsciously, especially when we are trying to impress the new generation. Being a model, is manly to inspire and be something to somebody. The celebrity in the world are using the tittle "role model" to recruits the young generation into their evil world. Role model is a sacred and wonderful position. It is a position that can change people's lives and make or break them. However, if you must partake of such divine nature, you must have such a definite experience. The divine experience in this case is to imitate God; your life must follow the pattern of the Holy spirit not the devil.AS a true child of God, you should seek to approximate to the measure of Christ stature. Jesus Christ came into the world in human form so that He can be an example for all of us.We can emulate Him and follow is ways. He is the only model sent from heaven for us to follow. For you to be a doer of His words and His disciple, you need to recongnise and abide in Him as a true vine. Never allow anything of this world to come between you and the Christ Jesus who is the source of your life. God does not want anyone to look down on you.He want to use you as a role model for your generation so that you can win souls into His kingdom. People must see the glory of God radiating upon your life. You must manifest. He wants you to lay a good example through your speech, love to others, your faith in Christ and in demonstration of His power. Henceforth, develop yourself to conform to the image and character of Jesus in everything you do.

VIBRANT AND EXCITING

Behold i will do a new thing:now it shall spring forth;shall ye not know it? I will even make a way I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 Beloved it is very important for us to know how our Maker works. He does not follow our ways and He will never be like us nor think like us. We need to understand that God 's delay is not a denial. God will answer and fight for His own. Remember, He is gentle and meek but also known as the Mighty Terrible One. He is a Man of war and He will demonstrate is power when the enemy attacks His own. This is the end of a hopeless, sinful, weary and frustrating life for you. It is a new and vibrant and exciting life for you. Beloved, never looked at your age or how well your mates are better than you. Hebrew 13:5 says He will not leave you nor forsake you. The hope and confidence you have in Him cannot be in vain. He is waiting and watching for the precise time to give you your blessings so that it does not affect you negatively . God knows that sometimes, what we might be asking for might harm us. He is a wonderful God that will allow His children to be in harm's way. He will always protect and guard His own jealously. The unbeliever may worried, but a child of God should know and understand that his needs will be met by a father that is able and more than the earthly father. When the blessings finally reach you, it will be worth the waiting and the time will be vibrant and exciting for you and your destiny.

HOW SHALL WE DO?

Blessed is the man that truseth in the Lord and whose hope the Lord is Jeremiah 17:7 Many a times you get to a cross road and you cannot move on. The situation at your front looks more terrible and more confusing. Then you ask yourself, what shall I do? Elisha's servant asked the same question when he found himself in the same situation. He had forgotten God's promise, in Psalm 91:5 that says, "thou shall not be afraid for the terror by night nor for the arrow that flieth by day". Elisha was in the spirit. He asked God to open his servant's spritual eyes to see the warrior angels that were with them are more than those against them. Immediately the servant saw the heavenly host, he became courageous. Life is full of ups downs. There are certain powers designated by the devil to challenge your authority as a beliver. You are the one to know the class you belong to; either on the side of God or the devil. Definitely, if you are on the side of God, you have your commanding authority to deal with the devil and his agent that may be confronting you at any point in time. What you only need is to be sure you are on the side of God. Automatically,

O GOD ARISE

Because of the day that cometh to spoil all the philistines and to cut off from Tyrus and Zidon every helper that remaineth: for the Lord will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the country of Caphtor. Jeremiah 47;4 God is the Awesome God, He is the Most High who rules over the kingdom of men Daniel 4:31-32, Every kingdom, dominion and authority is subject to His control for He created all things Colossians 1:16-17. In His divine calender, God appoints specific time to bring His wrath and punishment on those who oppresses His peculiar people Ecclesiastes 3:1. No force can escape His finger, when He is ready to take vengeance Isaiah 43:13. The Philistines turned themselves into an Isreal's enemies, since the departure of the Isrealites from the land of slavery and bondage (Egypt). They have been troubling Isreal since then. Remeber, Goliath was a Philistine. When it reached an appointed time that Gos wanted to take vengeance over them,He used David the anionted. He defeated him and his hosts through the power of God. He pronouced His punishment on them, through prophet Jeremiah. It was a period of terrible disaster for the Philistines. As you are, you are God's chosen generation, a peculiar person in His hand 1Peter2:9. What are those satanic forces representing Philistines against your destiny? Is there any problem challenging the authority of your God like Goliath? Do not worry yourself over them, their time of destruction has come, your heavenly father is ready to take vengeance. Just take the battle to Him and leave it there in His awesome presence, through prayers. Jeremiah 30:16.

JUST LIKE ESTHER

Ask and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. Matthew 7:7 Esther was an orphan, the daughter of modecai's uncle. Esther, a woman, a queen, knowing fully well that she was not supposed to so to the king at that particular hour. However, she turned herself into help mate so that her people could be saved and not perish. She fasted and prayed and God favoured her before the king. Although, it was not an easy task but she eventually considered herself to be in the palace for a purpose. She believed that the ultimate purpose is for the deliverance of her people. She believed that the ultimate purpose is for the deliverance of her people. She was determine to face any form of consequences even unto death. This is the chracter of a good help mate. Esther asked for divine favour and God answered her. Nonetheless, the answer to her request was not just ordinary. It has to take certain sacrifice, and the sacrifices was fasting and praying. When situations are even beyond your control and you are unable to help that particular person, the alternative solution is for you to turn to the Almighty God who is the Author and Creator of heaven and earth. God is faithful God can be counted on. He will not leave us nor forsake us. God is working through us to accomplish His will and that is a good news for us because as we have seen in the book of Esther,we know that by God's grace and His providence we are in the strategic places. God want wants to use us to deliver our family, friend etc. We know that God's will is going to accomplished. We are blessed because we have the opportunity to cooperate in bringing God's plan to fulfilment.

GOD MY SUPPORTER

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the mist of the sea. Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Psalm 46:1-3 No two individuals go through exactly the same type of problem, though it might be similar. Our individual experiences differ from one another even in the battle of life. People might really not have the understanding of what you are going through or even how unique your situation is. Human being might not be able to comprehend the dept and peculiarity of your battle. The good news is that someone knows. Someone can understand. Someone can even feel the pain with. That someone today is in your life. He is with you. He is beside you. He sleeps and wakes up with you. The man of war, the supporter of the weak and lonely. Leave aside your battle and your problem far a moment and remember that you were created by a Merciful God. The Man of war that will fight your battle on your behalf. The one who will carry the load you are carrying by yourself. UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATION

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Psalm 23:5 When the blind Bartholomew is in the book of Mark 10:49-52 was uncomfortable with his life, he screamed and asked Jesus to have mercy on him and he received freedom from the childhood blindness. The Isrealites after so many years of toiling and slavery, they become comfortable in the land of Egypt after spending years in slavery. They cried unto God and He used Moses to deliver them. In Matthew 14:28-30 Peter was willing to use his faith when he saw Jesus walking on water He said And Peter answered him and said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship,he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him. Jabez who was called by the name "pain" cried unto the Lord. Chronicles 4:10 says and Jabez called on God of Isreal, saying,O that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me, from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. I do not know the uncomfortable situation you have right now, but God that changed the name of Jabez and turn around the captivity of the Isrealites will help you today. Just please, call on His name and He will answer you, in the name of Jesus.

FlESH MUST DIE

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof Romans 13:14 The greatest battle man must fight to be victorious in life is the battle of self. We are sometimes our greatest enemy. As people do say the enemy within is greater than "the enemy. Outside". And this is so true, The reason many people are defeated today is because they have not put their flesh into subjection. Paul wrote "But I keep under my body and bring it into subjection, lest, that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. 1Corinthians 9:27 The flesh is in charge of many lives today and when it comes to the things of God. The flesh will take no for an answer. Beloved, we need to understand that the flesh does not want to do anything that is hard He just want a relaxation atmosphere. Flesh will always run away from fasting, it cannot deny itself of sleep. The attitude of I must have 8hrs of sleep in a day. is in many Christian today. It is difficult for flesh to wake up in the middle of night and pray. Beloved, the Bible says "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. One of the wiles of the devil is to plague people through the lust of the flesh and make them loose focus of what God desire of them. Beloved, the Bible says we should put on the Lord Jesus Christ which is our weapon against the lust of the flesh. You need to put on the whole amour of God, then you will be able to conquer the battle against the flesh.

CHOOSE LIFE

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live; Deuteronomy 30:19 The life we live now depends on how you want your end to be. God allows us to live according to what we choose to do our lives according to do with it at the end of the day. God has made everything we need according to His will and he has given us one thing, the power to choose what we want and what way to follow. The Bible says,I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life;....God find it important to tell us to choose life. But many people are not ready to conform to this. Some are choosing what they feel is good for them not caring about the consequence of their choice on their life and others. Some just want to live for today and forget about tomorrow. They believe that tomorrow will take care of itself. Let just live today. Are you one of them? If you do live for today, where do you end up tomorrow? Everyone can make choice in life but one thing is certain; every choice has its consequence whether good or bad. No matter the choice you make in life be ready to bear the consequences. There is no excuse for it so therefore think of the consequences first before making any choice in life. Like Joshua; choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve....But as for me and my house,we serve the God. With your entire family and resources. Then you will surely reap the reward of obedience.

DO NOT TAKE GOD FOR GRANTED

Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. If punishment for a crime is delayed, people feel it is safe to do evil. The fact that God does not punish us immediately we sin, should not make us assume that sin does not have its consequences or that God does not care. God is holy and righteous and hates sin in all forms. He knows everything we do,both good and bad, and will one day require us to give an account of all our actions. Sin has terrible consequences and to avert those consequences, one should genuinely repent and begin to live for God. one translation of the bible puts Romans 2:4 this way: Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? Let God's goodness towards you motivate you to turn away from sin.

DIVINE COMPASSION

It is of the Lord mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. Lamentations 3:22. According to psalm 34:15,God's eyes are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. This was exactly what happened when the Isrealites cried for deliverance from bondage in the land of egypt.it was as if God had forgotten them, but He was waiting for His appointed time.He is not regulated or guided by man's time-table.God said, I have seen the affliction of my people.i know their sorrows". 'I KNOW'; powerful statement we wonder if God knows what I am going through". He says be still and see what I am going to do for you, and how I am going to do it. It may not be the way and you would want it done, but you will be happy with the end result. in every situation always trust God because he knows what is good for us....man may say there's no way that it's imposible, beloved i want you to belive that with God all things.put God first in everything and you will never regret you did.
